A case has been filed three days after the murder of Jubo League leader Jamal Hossain in Daudkandi, Comilla.
The deceased's wife Popi Akhter filed the case at Daudkandi police station on Tuesday midnight.
Seventeen people including nine named and eight unknowns have been made accused in the case.
Alamgir Bhuya, officer-in-charge (OC) of Daudkandi police station, confirmed the matter adding that the names of the accused cannot be disclosed for the sake of investigation.
An operation is underway to nab the accused, he added.
On the night of April 30, Jamal Hossain, joint convener of Titas upazila Jubo League, was shot to dead in by three burqa-clad men Gouripur market of Daudkandi in Comilla.
