The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested a man carrying 200 millilitres of LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide) at the Kakdanga border in Kalaroa upazila of Satkhira.
Confirming the news at a press briefing on Wednesday, BGB 33 Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel Md Ashraful Haque stated that Md Ishak, along with the contraband, was apprehended during a raid on Tuesday.
"The raid was conducted in a village of Keragacchi union of the upazila, on a tip-off, and Md Ishak was arrested with four bottles, each containing 50 millilitres of LSD," he said.
Md Ishak has been turned over to Kalaroa police, and a case has been filed under the Narcotics Control Act, he added.
