A fire that broke out at a factory at a factory in Narayanganj's Bhulta was brought under control after two and a half hours.
The fire started at 1:05pm at Nannu Spinning Mills in Narayanganj.
Nine firefighting units brought the blaze under control at 3:35pm, said Khaleda Yeasmin, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately, she added.
No injury or casualty was reported till the filling of this report.
