Indian cruise ship Ganga Vilas is now staying in Barisal. The cruise ship arrived at Barisal on Wednesday afternoon, six days after its arrival in Bangladesh.
It anchored at the Navy jetty adjacent to the Muktijoddha Park of the city about 3pm.
Tourists of the ship visited different spots in Barisal.
They visited Oxford Mission Church in Barisal city and will visit the floating market of Guava Gardens in Vimruli of Jhalakathi-Barisal border.
Later, it will leave for Assam of India via Dhaka, Tangail and Rangpur.
Barisal River Port Officer BIWTA (Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority) deputy director Abdur Razzak confirmed the matter.

On Thursday, the next destination of the trip will be the journey to Dhaka.
In this trip, the tourists will visit 50 tourist spots in 27 rivers covering a distance of 3200 km.

On January 13 this year, India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially inaugurated the journey of luxury cruise ship Ganga Vilas from Banaras of India.
The tourist ship Ganga Vilas on the 21st day of the tour entered Bangladesh waters on Friday (February 3).
The ship will cross 27 rivers covering 3200 kilometers in 51 days.
It will enter Dhubri in India through Chilmari port of Rangpur on May 17 and the journey will end at Dibrugarh in Assam on May 1.
There are 28 tourists on the Ganga Bilas. Among them, 27 are citizens of Switzerland and one is a citizen of Germany.
Besides, there are Indian 41 crews, guides on the ship.
Barisal deputy commissioner Jahangir Hossain welcomed the tourists giving floral wrath and said that adequate security arrangements have been made for foreign tourists. The Marine Police are working to protect them along the river route besides deploying extra police wherever they go.
Dhaka TribuneKayes Khan, the representative of the tourist guide organization Journey Plus, said that though the tourists could not see tigers in the Sundarbans, they are happy to see the footprints of tigers. They are fascinated by the natural beauty of this country.
Superintendent of Police of Marine Police Barisal Region Kofil Uddin said that marine police , coast guard, tourist police and metropolitan police are working together to ensure security.
Hans Frank, a citizen of Switzerland, said the experience of this trip is amazing.
Imo, another citizen of Switzerland, said: “we are really impressed by the beauty of Bangladesh. The security system was also very good. We are enjoying our Bangladesh tour very much.”
Raj Singh, chairman of Ganga Vilas, said that it is the world's longest river cruise without facing any problems on this journey.
On Saturday at noon, the five-star cruise ship anchored at the Mongla port jetty.
They were received in Mongla by State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, Indian High Commissioner Prannoy Verma and Mongla Port Chairman Rear Admiral Mir Ershad Ali.
