The ferry movement on Padma and Jamuna rivers, which were halted due to dense fog, resumed on Saturday morning.
The services resumed at around 11am, almost four and a half hours later, on the Aricha-Kazirhat route.
Meanwhile, the services resumed at around 10:50am, some three and a half hours later, on Paturia-Daulatdia route.
Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Paturia ghat DGM Shah Mohammad Khaled Newaz said during the period three ferries were stranded at Paturia ghat, three in the middle of the Padma River and five at Daulatdia ghat, adding that a Ro-Ro ferry was stranded in the middle of the Jamuna River as well.
Now all the ferries on both the river routes are normal, he added.
