A photographer has been stabbed to death over previous enmity in Cox's Bazar.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Yusuf.
The incident took place at Chandrima area of Cox's Bazar city around 3:30pm on Sunday.
Cox's Bazar Additional Superintendent of Police Md Rafiqul Islam confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
Police arrested a man named Sohel, 25, in this connection.
The deceased Yusuf's brother, Syed Ahmed, said that Yusuf and Sohel, also from the same neighborhood, had a little argument a few days prior. The incident led to a public stabbing on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, the angry mob attempted to capture the suspect when the police arrived at the scene after hearing the news.
Two police officers suffered significant injuries in a fight with the irate audience. They were taken to the Cox's Bazar district hospital.
However, the police officer could not immediately confirm the identity of the injured policemen.
