Police have arrested a man with cannabis, tobacco, and chillum, locally known as kalki, while visiting his son at Kashimpur Prison.
Golam Akhter, 54, was detained at the prison premises when the security searched him on Tuesday afternoon.
He was visiting his son, a high-security prisoner who is in jail in a murder case.
Gazipur Metropolitan Konabari Police Sub Inspector Shawkat Imran confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
He said that 5gm of cannabis, 10gm tobacco leaves, a chillum, and a scissor were seized from his possession.
