Rain or thundershower with intense lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Khulna, Barisal, and Chittagong divisions with hails at isolated places, according to Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
In its morning bulletin on Sunday, the department said that the trough of Westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay, it added.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, said the Met Office.
In the last 24 hours till Sunday morning, the maximum temperature was recorded in Chandpur at 36.4°C, and the minimum temperature was recorded in Gopalgonj at 20.2°C on Saturday.
