A body found floating in the Fuljor River in Sirajganj was identified as tenth grader Shubho, who went missing two days ago.
The fire service recovered the body on Sunday after locals reported.
The 14-year-old was a student of Chandaikona High School in Raiganj upazila.
On Friday afternoon, after the Holi festival, Shuvo went missing after he went to take bath in the river with his friends, said Station Officer Ataur Rahman of the Sirajganj Fire Service.
“Divers from Rajshahi conducted a two-day search operation to find him until locals reported spotting Shubho's body floating 500 meters away from the spot on Sunday,” he said.
The body has been handed over to the family, added the firefighter.
