A bus has run over and killed the driver of a locally-made three-wheeler in Narayanganj.
The accident took place in front of the Meghna Economic Zone on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway at around 2pm on Monday, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kachpur Highway police Sajjad Karim Khan has said.
The deceased was identified as Subash Chandra Das, 39.
Subash died on the spot after being run over by the Chittagong-bound BRTC bus.
Police seized athe bus, but the driver managed to flee the scene.
The body of the deceased was sent to Narayanganj General Hospital for autopsy.
Police will file a case over the accident, the OC said.
