Three more people attending the second phase of the Bishwa Ijtema have died, taking the toll so far to four.
Abdul Hamid Mondal, 55, Abdul Hannan, 45, and Borhan Uddin, 48, died on Friday.
Earlier, at dawn, sudden cardiac arrest led to the death of Mofizul Islam, 60, at the Ijtema ground.
The second phase of the three-day Bishwa Ijtema, the second largest congregation of Muslims after Hajj, began on the banks of the Turag River in Tongi on Friday.
The first phase, which ended on January 15 with prayers for peace, prosperity and the welfare of the world and the Muslim community, saw the death of eight devout Muslim attendees.
