Police have recovered the body of an unidentified woman bundled in a sack in Tangail.
Locals at Bhuapur Upazila found the sack and reported it to police on Tuesday.
Bhuapur police OC Abdul Wahab said they suspect the woman, estimated to be 25 years old, was murdered.
“We have launched an investigation,” he said.
The body has been sent to the Tangail General Hospital for autopsy, said the police officer.
