Hailstorm and heavy rains damaged houses and crops in Baraigram upazila of Natore on Friday afternoon.
The hailstorm, which lasted for 25 minutes, wreaked havoc on Atgharia, Bhabanipur, Haroa, and Garhmati villages of the upazila.
Thunderstorms were also reported from some other areas of the district during this time.
Subrata Kumar Sarkar, deputy director of the Department of Agricultural Extension, said the extent of damage could not be known yet.
The affected areas will be inspected on Saturday, he added.
