4 killed in Teknaf road accident

The accident took place at Whykong Lombabil area of the Cox's Bazar-Teknaf road at around 9:30am on Wednesday

At least four people have been killed in a head-on collision between a minibus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar. 

The accident took place at Whykong Lombabil area of the Cox's Bazar-Teknaf road at around 9:30am on Wednesday. 

One died on the spot and three others died on the way to the hospital. The victims were all passengers of the CNG-run auto-rickshaw. However, it was not possible to identify them immediately.

Confirming the matter to Dhaka Tribune, Teknaf police station OC Abdul Alim said that a minibus heading towards Cox's Bazar collided head-on with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw heading towards Teknaf on Wednesday morning

The bodies of the victims are being sent to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue, added the OC.
