2 hacked to death in Jessore

Both of them were on a motorbike when assailants  attacked them with sharp weapons presumably for hijacking their motorbike

Two men were hacked to death in Manirampur upazila of Jessore on Thursday evening.

The deceased have been identified as Badol, 24, an internet cable worker and Ahad Ali, 25, a farmer, both from Boshundia Joyanta village of Jessore Sadar upazila.

Alamgir, a local of Rupdiya village in Jessore Sadar upazila said one of the bodies was found in Barpara and another was found in Chaulia area by the Jessore-Khulna Highway.

Locals said Badol and Ahad were neighbors. Both of them were on a motorbike when assailants  attacked them with sharp weapons presumably for hijacking their motorbike.

Manirampur police station Sub-Inspector (SI)  Debashish Mondal on Thursday night said sharp weapons were used to kill the victims. “The reason behind death could not be known yet. The incident is under investigation.”
