The Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism has announced that a re-issue of old tickets of Biman Bangladesh Airlines is only available at designated sales centres. There is no opportunity to purchase Biman tickets anywhere else.
The ministry made the announcement in this regard in a press release on Wednesday.
The civil aviation ministry said the old ticket holders who wanted to go to Saudi Arabia were being allotted seats without any charge.
However, some dishonest agencies and individuals were spreading false information through social media that they were re-issuing tickets for Saudi Arabia in exchange for money. Passengers had been asked to beware of such scams, according to the release.
The authorities also warned that action would be taken against those spreading false information.
