Police have arrested three men who allegedly raped a ready-made garment worker at the Bagur Shantinagar area of Chandina upazila, Comilla.
The incident took place around 9pm on Monday behind a bush adjacent to the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway.
The accused are Khokon, 29, son of Md Ali, a resident of Bhola, Abdul Mannan, 28, son of Faridur Rahman, a resident of Debidwar upazila, and Farid, 26, son of Kalumiah, a resident of Chandina upazila.
The 19-year-old RMG worker was returning home from her workplace when the three youths forcefully took her behind a nearby bush in the area, raped her taking turns and fled the spot, the girl said.
A case has been filed with Debidwar police station and police arrested the three, who later confessed to their crimes, said OC of the police station Jahirul Anowar.
