Mother of a coronavirus-infected physician died at Kurmitola General Hospital from the virus infection on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Kohinur Begum, mother of Minara Begum, a physician of Narayanganj 300-Bed Hospital who also tested positive for coronavirus a few days ago, said control room of Civil Surgeon’s office, reports UNB.
With this, a total of 27 people from the district have died from Covid-19.
Meanwhile, ten more people died from coronavirus in Bangladesh in the last 24 hours till Thursday, taking the death toll in the country to 60.
Besides, a record 341 people tested positive for the virus coronavirus during the period, taking the number of such cases in the country to 1,572.
