Tangail Fire Service and Civil Defence has provided relief rations to a family whose house burnt to ashes in the Borobinnafoir area of Dainna union in Tangail Sadar upazila.
The fire service handed relief rations to the family on Tuesday.
According to fire service sources, a deadly fire burned down the house of the victim family to ruins on Monday despite the best efforts of the firefighters.
The district fire service handed out provisions to the family to help them get through this tough time as the district is under lockdown due to the spread of coronavirus.
Tangail Fire Service and Civil Defence Senior Station Officer Shafiqul Islam said: “Yesterday the family lost everything to a fire and gave relief rations to the family. We also sprayed disinfectant in the area since the fire drew a large crowd and could further spread Covid-19.”
