On Thursday, some youths led by Ahad, the son of a local resident named Farid, and Mahbub played loud music on the roof of the house from the afternoon till 1am, according to locals and the police. Nazrul’s family members protested their activities. The hooligans left the place but threatened them with dire consequences. They came back Friday evening and repeated the noise on the roof. As Anwara complained again about the loud music, Ahad and Mahbub entered their house and stabbed her and the daughter indiscriminately. Her husband and sons were at work at that time.
