A female student of Jagannath University (JnU) has reportedly been sexually harassed by two unidentified people in Kolta Bazar of Old Dhaka.
The incident took place on Friday morning.
Sutrapur police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kazi Wazed Ali said two unknown persons on a motorcycle, stopped the victim on her way to the university in front of Khan Plaza.
"They sexually harassed the victim and fled the scene as soon as she started to shout for help."
Later, the victim filed a case against the two with the police station, under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act, he said.
"We are working on the matter and trying to gather CCTV [closed-circuit television] footage to identify the culprits," the OC added.
