Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested a drug peddler named Md Saleh Ahmed Shobuj, 30, with four thousand yaba pills in Chauddagram upazila of Comilla on Sunday. They have also seized two mobile phones that were used for selling drugs.
The dealer was arrested in the early hours of Sunday after a special operation was conducted by RAB in Kodalia village of the upazila.
The RAB 11 CPC 2 Acting Commander Muhitul Islam said: “The drug peddler has been running his business in Chauddagram as well as various other parts of the country. The arestee has also admitted to using the phones for selling drugs.”
The Chauddagram police is on the process of taking legal actions in this regard.
