Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted that light to moderate rain or thunder showers may occur at many parts of the country in the next 24 hours.
“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers - accompanied by temporary gusty wind - is likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna and Barisal divisions and at a few places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Bangladesh,” read a Met office bulletin.
It added: “Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and weak to moderate over North Bay.”
Day and night temperature may fall slightly across Bangladesh, reports BSS.
On Saturday, highest temperature was recorded at 33.8°C in Rangamati while minimum temperature was 21°C in Tetulia.
Highest rainfall for the last 24 hours, till 6am on Sunday, was recorded at 53 millimeters (mm) in Tetulia.
The sun will set at 5:48pm on Sunday and will rise at 5:50am on Monday in Dhaka.
