A man has been beaten to death in Gobindaganj municipality.
Akalu Sheikh died early Tuesday.
Mehedi Hasan, officer-in-charge (OC) of Gobindaganj police station said: "Akalu got involved in a fight with a tea-stall owner at Hirak crossing of the municipality while having tea on Sunday night.
“At one point of the quarrel, the shop owner and his people beat him mercilessly."
He suffered severe injuries and died around 1:30am on Tuesday, OC Mehedi said.
