Zahirul Alam Dubash, vice president of Chittagong city Awami League, has been appointed the new chief of the Chittagong Development Authority (CDA).
The government has appointed the four-time Chittagong city corporation councillor as CDA chairman, on a contract, for the next two years.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a circular in this regard, on Wednesday.
He will succeed Abdus Salam who had served as the CDA chairman for the last decade.
