An aircraft of US Bangla Airlines landed in Sylhet on Thursday with a burst wheel.
The aircraft, a domestic flight on the Dhaka-Sylhet route, landed at Osmani International Airport around 8:10pm.
According to passengers, the aircraft took off from Dhaka around 7:30pm. A wheel of the aircraft burst just after the flight took off.
However, the aircraft was able to make a bumpy but safe landing in Sylhet.
One of the passengers said the pilot made a high risk landing.
He also demanded that the government form a committee to check the aircraft, lest a more serious accident occur at any time.
Hafizur Rahman, manager of Sylhet airport, confirmed the matter and said a team of engineers were due in Sylhet to repair the aircraft.
