A person was arrested on Monday in Sylhet for making allegedly derogatory remarks on Facebook about the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and other ministers.
Additional Superintendent of Police of Rab-9 Md Moniruzzaman, said Masum Ahmed (37) son of Abdul Muhit of Shekhergaon area under South Surma of the district, was picked up by members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) at night.
Masum have posted derogatory comments about the prime minister and other ministers on his Facebook wall, Moniruzzaman added.
He has been handed over to South Surma police station.
