Three members of a family have been stabbed in Dosaid area of Ashulia over a family feud.
They were stabbed and injured around 10pm on Monday night.
The injured are RMG worker Selina Begum, 40; Selina’s son, Selim; and Selina’s brother-in-law Sirajul.
Sheikh Rizaul Haque Dipu, officer-in-charge of Ashulia Police Station, said that Selina's sister-in-law, Amena Begum, had made abusive comments about her. When Selina protested, Amena, and her husband Alamin, struck her nose with a brick.
He added that when Selim and Sirajul came to rescue Selina, Amena and Alamin stabbed the three with sharp weapons and fled the scene.
Their neighbors rescued the trio and took them to Enam Medical College Hospital.
The police visited the spot on Tuesday morning.
