An unidentified man has been hacked to death by miscreants in the Patkajor area of Keraniganj on Wednesday.
Keraniganj model police station Officer-in-Charge (Operation) Sarwar Hossain confirmed the incident, and said:"A group of miscreants entered the second floor flat of a house in the area and stabbed the victim indiscriminately around 1:30am. He died on the spot," reports UNB.
"We responded immediately after we were notified about the incident. We recovered the body from the spot. The body had multiple injury marks on it," he added.
He said: "The body has been sent to Mitford Hospital Morgue for autopsy. Necessary steps will be taken upon further investigation."
