A man has been killed in a road accident in Satkhira’s Shyamnagar Upazila.
Another person was injured when a goods-laden truck ran over a motorcycle on the Shyamnagar-Kaliganj Highway around 7am on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Abu Musa, 26, a grocery trader.
Shyamnagar police station Officer-in-Charge (investigation) Anisur Rahman Molla said the truck driver fled the scene after the incident.
“We are trying to arrest him,” he added.
