Notorious criminal Ashiqur Rahman, alias Boma Ashiq, has been arrested in Comilla.
The arrest occurred in the Dharmapur area of Sadar upazila, on Wednesday night.
Kotwali police station Inspector (Investigation) Md Salauddin said: “Acting on a tip-off, we conducted a drive in Dharmapur area and arrested Ashiq, was carrying a revolver and a bullet.
“Ashiq has several cases against him filed with various police stations. An arms case has been filed in this regard,” he said.
