The sale of advance bus tickets on long routes for the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha will start on Tuesday.
The decision was taken by the Bus Owners’ Association on Monday, reports BSS.
The sale of advance bus tickets for the Eid holidays was supposed to begin on Sunday, but it was postponed as bus services on long routes were suspended.
The general manager of Hanif Paribahan said bus tickets will be on sale at bus counters from 6am today.
Bangladesh Bus Truck Owners’ Association Vice President and Shymoli Paribahan Managing Director Ramesh Chandra Ghosh said advance bus tickets to be sold from today will be for journeys from August 16-21.
However, the dates for sale of return tickets will be announced later.
