Bogra sadar Additional Superintendent of Police (Media) Sanatan Chakraborty said the hidden weapons cache was recovered on Sunday from a construction site belonging to Ashik Khan.
“During the digging for a septic tank, labourers unearthed a clay pot filled with weapons.
“We suspect that the arms and ammunition date from the 1971 Liberation War from their looks,” ASP Sanatan added.
