Freedom fighters in Magura protest quota abolishment

Freedom fighters have joined arms to protest the recently withdrawn quota system from government jobs, in Magura. The protest started in Islampur area around 12pm on Thursday and spread to the area in front of Government Hossain Shaheed Suhrawardy College. Several freedom fighters spoke at the protest rally, and said: “Freedom fighters have laid the foundation of this country by fighting in the War of Liberation. The students' protests have led to the withdrawal of the freedom fighter quota and it is a cause of humiliation for us. Now they will have to face consequences for this.”
