Ex-UP member shot dead in Jamalpur

The deceased is Sumed Ali, 62, of Jigatola village. Islampur police station Officer-in-Charge Deen-e-Alam said miscreants shot Sumed in front a grocery shop on Tuesday midnight, leaving him dead on the spot. Police recovered the body on Wednesday morning. Two bullet shells were also recovered the spot. The body was sent to Jamalpur 250-Bed Hospital morgue.
