Narcotics worth Tk5cr destroyed in Brahmanbaria

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has destroyed narcotics, worth around Tk5 crore, in the Brahmanbaria Government College field in the district. The narcotics recovered at different times were destroyed on Wednesday. Lawmaker RAM Obaidul Muktadir Chowdhury from Brahmanbaria 3 constituency, the district’s deputy commissioner, municipal mayor and BGB officials were present there.

Col Gazi Md Ahsanuzzaman, BGB’s sector commander in Comilla, said they were taking a zero tolerance stance against drug peddling and substance abuse in the country.
