The freedom fighter was attacked by tree loggers on Friday. The heinous attack took place in Tokholpur village under Sreepur upazila in Magura over a land dispute.
Recently, about Tk3lakhs worth of trees were cut down from Moshiur’s property by a faction. When Moshiur protested on Friday afternoon, followers of one UP Member Rouf set upon him with sticks and hammers and grievously injured him.
Moshiur’s family says they are too scared for their lives to file a report.
Sreepur police confirmed the incident and said the Moshiur has been admitted in critical condition to Magura Sadar Hospital.
