Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee (Forum for Secular Bangladesh and Trial of war Criminals of 1971) has demanded that all followers and children of war criminals, as well as Jamaat-e-Islami and Hefazat be declared ineligible to run for the upcoming general election.
The forum also made five demands for the 11th parliamentary election to be free and fair.
President of the forum Shahriar Kabir made the statement to the press; after a meeting with the chief election commissioner at the Election Commission Secretariat, in Dhaka’s Agargaon area on Tuesday.
