ULAB CES, Future Startup hold discussion on state of online medicine delivery

The Center for Enterprise and Society (CES) of ULAB and Future Startup recently collaborated to present a focused panel discussion titled “the State of Online Medicine Delivery in Bangladesh.”

The event took place on Thursday and was streamed live on Dhaka Tribune.

The panel discussion addressed the burgeoning landscape of online medicine delivery, a trend significantly accelerated by the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and how it kept growing. 

Ruhul Kader from Future Startup moderated the panel, which featured esteemed speakers Azra Salim, founder and CEO of Shombhob Health Ltd, Zia Ashraf, Founder and COO of Chaldal, and Arefin Zaman, co-founder and CEO of MedEasy. 

The panel convened to examine this evolving sector's impact and implications in Bangladesh.

Online medicine delivery has rapidly gained traction in Bangladesh, fueled by internet accessibility and the demand for convenient healthcare solutions.

The panel emphasized the importance of leveraging technology to enhance medicine accessibility, especially in remote regions and to improve overall healthcare outcomes through streamlined delivery processes and innovative solutions.
