The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Japan Bangladesh Friendship Medical Services Ltd (Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital) to provide special healthcare benefits to members of its community on Thursday.
The agreement extends access to special healthcare facilities to ULAB management, faculty members, employees, alumni, students and their parents.
ULAB Registrar Lt Col Md Foyzul Islam (retd) and Japan Bangladesh Friendship Medical Services Ltd Executive Director Md Murad Hossain signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Among those present at the signing ceremony were ULAB Additional Director of Career Services and Alumni Relations Office Aslam Hossain, Deputy Director of the Students Affairs Office Md Mahmud Hossain and Medical Officer Dr Anika Tabassum.
Representing the medical services provider were Director of Operations Md Shohidul Alam Ripon and Deputy General Manager of Business Development Md Masud Khan, along with senior officials from both organisations.
