Since the start of the Covid-19 vaccination program Bangladesh on February 7, nearly 5.73 million people have received the first dose of the vaccine.
Meanwhile, more than 1.5 million people have received the second dose, completing their vaccination.
In other words, including the second doses, more than 7.2 million doses of vaccine have been administered in the country.
Among the people who have been vaccinated, 978 have reported to have side effects such as headache, sore throat and mild fever.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed this information in a regular press release on Monday.
According to the DGHS, from Monday morning to till afternoon, 15,057 people took the first dose of the vaccine, while 140,678 people took the second dose.
A total of 7,133,899 people have registered till 5:30pm on Monday.
The national coronavirus vaccination drive started on February 7, and the administration of the second dose started on April 8.
Vaccination is going on from 8:30am to 2:30pm every day, except on Friday.
