A coronavirus positive man, who fled the hospital after knowing about his infection, reportedly infected his wife and son in Bogra.
The infected person, a representative of a pharmaceuticals, fled to his home in Fultola, Shahjahanpur of the city and later to his hometown Sadar’s Sakharia village after being tested positive for the virus on Tuesday, the hospital authority says.
When his wife and son's blood samples were sent for checking, they were also found to be positive for the virusa , as a result of the sheer irresponsible behaviour of the man, said Dr Mostafizur Rahman Tuhin, civil surgeon of Bogra.
The house of the infected family, along with five adjacent houses of the locality, have been locked down to prevent the spread of the virus, said the official.
