Biman Bangladesh Airlines will operate special flights to fly back Bangladeshis stranded in India due to the travel restrictions amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The national flag carrier will operate flights on May 1, 2, and 3, its Managing Director and CEO Md Mokabbir Hossain told the Dhaka Tribune on Monday.
On May 1, a flight will bring back Bangladeshis from Kolkata while the next day from Delhi and on May 3, from Mumbai, he said.
As many as 996 stranded Bangladeshis have returned from India, so far, said the top Biman official.
