Coronavirus: 12 more test positive in Narsingdi

27 people were tested positive in the district on Friday

12 more people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours as of Saturday taking the total number to 104 in the district.

Confirming the matter, Imrul Kayes, additional deputy commissioner and chief of Narsingdi Coronavirus Prevention Emergency Cell, said doctors, engineers, project officers, health directorate officials, journalists, and children were infected in the district, UNB reports.

Bangladesh has so far reported 84 deaths and 2,144 cases of coronavirus.

On Friday, it was reported that 27 people, including three physicians, tested positive for coronavirus in the preceding 24 hours.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Thursday declared the entire country as vulnerable-to-infection zone.
