The government on Friday urged everyone to wear masks in crowded areas in light of the prevalence of Covid-19 in some parts of the country.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued a message in this regard to the media.
The message particularly urged the elderly and sick people to avoid crowded areas.
“Considering the rise in Covid-19 infections, everyone is requested to wear masks in crowded areas. Elderly and sick people are advised to avoid crowded places,” the message said.
