Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed has said economic activities will continue uninterrupted even during this year's extended holidays for the holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
The adviser made the statement after several meetings in the Cabinet Division conference room at the Secretariat on Thursday.
"Most of the advisers will remain in the city during the holidays. There will be no problem in taking decisions even if the secretaries go out of the country. These days, decisions can be made digitally. So the economy will not stagnate even during the Eid holiday," he said.
Bangladesh is going on a nine-day Eid holiday from Friday to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr.
