The announcement was made on Wednesday evening through the official Facebook page of Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus.

The statement mentioned that this year, an initiative has been taken to organize an inclusive New Year procession, ensuring the participation of not only the Bengali community but also the Chakma, Marma, Tripura, Garo, and other indigenous groups.

To ensure that people across the country can celebrate the New Year in a festive atmosphere, a meeting will be held on Sunday in the conference room of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, presided over by the ministry’s adviser, Mostofa Sarwar Farooki.
