The Ministry of Women and Children Affairs and the Ministry of Social Welfare have taken responsibility for providing legal assistance and rehabilitation support to the family of the eight-year-old child who died after being subjected to rape and torture in Magura.
This information was disclosed in a press release issued by the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs on Saturday.
According to the press release, all necessary legal assistance regarding the case will be provided by the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.
Additionally, the Ministry of Social Welfare will ensure the rehabilitation of the child’s family and the mental health support of her elder sister, it said.
Sharmeen S Murshid, who serves as an adviser to both ministries, has given directives regarding this matter, as stated in the press release.
