The government has made changes in top positions across three government departments, with the Ministry of Public Administration issuing separate notifications regarding these appointments on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Ahmed Faisal Imam, the additional secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, has been appointed on deputation as the Transport Commissioner of the Directorate of Government Transport.
Nuzhat Yasmin, the additional secretary of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, has been appointed on deputation as the chairman of the Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation, with her employment placed under the Ministry of Industries.
Additionally, new appointments have been made for the director general of the Directorate of Land Records and Survey, the chairman of Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation, and the Transport Commissioner of the Directorate of Government Transport.
Md Saidur Rahman, the chairman of the Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation, has been appointed on deputation as the Director General of the Directorate of Land Records and Survey, with his employment placed under the Ministry of Land.
