46th BCS preliminary exam on March 9

The exam will take place between 10am-12pm

The 46th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination for recruitment to government jobs has been scheduled for March 9.

The exam will take place between 10am-12pm, according to a press release issued by the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Thursday.

Information related to examination centres, seats, and other instructions are available at the commission's website and Teletalk Bangladesh website.

The online application process for the 46th BCS examination started from December 10 and continue till January 31.

Interested eligible candidates can complete the registration process by filling the application form (BPSC Form-1) online through the website and depositing the prescribed fee.

As per the notification, candidates applying for this position must fall within the age range of 21 to 30 years. Those born between November 2, 1993, and November 2, 2002, are eligible to apply.

According to the notification, 3,140 officers will be recruited in different cadres in this BCS. Of the posts, 1,682 are for assistant surgeon, 16 for assistant dental surgeon, 920 for education, 274 for administration, 10 for foreign affairs, 80 for police, 14 for Ansar, 49 for family planning, 26 for fisheries, and 65 for public works cadres.
